Self Esteem is one of the leading contenders for this year’s Mercury Prize.

Self Esteem has posted a new single edit of Fucking Wizardry, taken from the 2022 album Prioritise Pleasure.

“It’s a song about trusting and believing in what you already know,” Rebecca Lucy Taylor says. “If it feels like someone is taking the piss, they usually are. Not to be all ‘you deserve better’ about it but it’s very likely you do, indeed deserve better.”
