Justin Young leading The Vaccines @ Live At Leeds: In The Park 2022 (Gary Mather for Live4ever)
The Vaccines acted as the chief support to Bombay Bicycle Club on the MTV Main Stage.
The Vaccines were at the inaugural Live At Leeds: In The Park last Saturday (June 4th) as they begin to clock up the miles on their summer of European festivals.
Also on the schedule is Isle Of Wight later this month, and an appearance at Y Not in July which, as Justin Young has noted, should help to heal some old wounds.
“In 2017, we sat backstage in torrential rain desperately hoping that we’d be allowed to play for everyone at Y Not,” he said.
“The gods decided it wasn’t to be, and we left the festival as miserable as the weather. So we couldn’t be happier that after a 5 year wait, we’re finally getting the chance to right that wrong and bring the thunder ourselves…”
