Ride join the day which will be headlined by Richard Ashcroft.

Ride have been added to the bill for this year’s South Facing Festival, bringing Nowhere’s 30th anniversary celebrations to Crystal Palace Bowl on Saturday, August 6th.

The band’s debut album will be performed in full during the appearance, as it was when Live4ever witnessed their show at The Marble Factory in Bristol last month.

“The encore comprises a few choice cuts from elsewhere in the Oxford band’s canon, with the newer material very nearly outshining the old stuff,” our review reads.

“Lannoy Point, from comeback album Weather Diaries, seers purposefully and disgruntledly and is growing in stature with age, while Future Love should have been the sound of every summer since its release in 2019.”

“Even a false start from the group cannot diminish its deft, immediate wistfulness, while the angry mod-soul of Kill Switch stomps industrially and proves there’s more to Ride than yearning, as does the wrenched guitar Bell conjures on OX4.”
