Foo Fighters had been on tour in South America before Taylor Hawkins’ passing.

Foo Fighters have cancelled their remaining touring commitments after the sudden death of their drummer Taylor Hawkins last week.

Another busy summer of US and UK stadiums shows had been on the cards for the band, but the sad news which broke last weekend has unsurprisingly led to an immediate suspension of their future plans.

“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” a statement reads.

“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.”
