Arctic Monkeys continue to build their live schedule for 2022.

Arctic Monkeys, Lorde and Nine Inch Nails will headline Primavera Sound’s first edition in Los Angeles.

The festival, based in Barcelona, is to hold the US version at LA’s State Historic Park between September 16th-18th; with James Blake, Stereolab, Khruangbin, Kim Gordon, Fontaines D.C., Jehnny Beth, Cigarettes After Sex and Dry Cleaning some of the other confirmed artists.

It’s another live outing confirmed for Arctic Monkeys with next year expected to bring their follow-up to Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino – one of our top albums of 2018:

“The wisdom of all of this depends on your perspective of course, as no respected name has taken a risk like this since Radiohead’s Kid A,” the review reads.

“But then wisdom shouldn’t come into it; Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino has started a conversation which may never stop, exposed people to sounds and cadences they wouldn’t otherwise have experienced, its existence a metaphor for every artist who ended up playing to five people in Leighton Buzzard or quit whilst six figures unrecouped because they wouldn’t, couldn’t compromise.”
