“We were blown away as soon as we heard their music, and then furthermore when we met them in person,” Speedy Wunderground’s Pierre Hall says of signing Honeyglaze.
South London-based band Honeyglaze have joined Speedy Wunderground and duly shared their first single with the label today.
“Creative Jealousy came from the feeling of frustration I had during a creative block,” explains vocalist and guitarist Anouska.
“I found myself looking around and feeling unable to live up to the high artistic standard set by my peers, not to mention my own expectations. The only thing I could think to do was to make fun of myself.”
The band play their home-base – the Windmill in Brixton – tonight backing Geese, and will also support Katy J Pearson in Bristol and London next month.
