SXSW will be back for the first time since 2019.
The first list for next year’s South By Southwest Festival has been revealed, and Katy J Pearson and Yard Act will be some of the UK artists making the trek over to Austin, Texas in March 2022.
Among the others from British shores who’ve been confirmed are Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, Nuha Ruby Ra and Hamish Hawk, as organisers aim for a, ‘diverse lineup full of adventurous talent’ upon the event’s return.
“Our first round of Showcasing Artists is a taste of what you can expect to see at SXSW 2022,” James Minor, Head Of Music, says.
“A diverse lineup full of adventurous talent that’s ripe for discovery. We’re looking forward to bringing the music world back together next March to see where we’re headed.”
