There’s plenty of lyrical nods to Bob Dylan on the title-track of The War On Drugs’ forthcoming I Don’t Live Here Anymore LP.
Guest vocalists Lucius lend a different flavour to the band on the second track to be taken from their fifth studio record, one whose life began in the immediate of aftermath of A Deeper Understanding picking up the Best Rock Album prize at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
Soon after, Adam Granduciel, Dave Hartley and Anthony LaMarca made upstate New York the base for jamming sessions which would produce the initial demos for their next LP, sessions which soon numbered in the dozens as they headed to hallowed spaces such as Electric Lady, Sound City and Electro-Vox.
