Sharleen Spiteri in Aberdeen with Texas (Paul Smith for Live4ever)
Sharleen Spiteri was performing an intimate acoustic set to help launch the new Texas album.
Texas were at the Aberdeen Tivoli Theatre on September 4th after the release of Hi back in the spring, a record whose genesis came from the unexpected discovery of some outtakes from the White On Blonde sessions.
“Our excitement at finding this treasure trove of songs collided with our excitement back then and, unplanned, new songs started coming,” Spiteri said. “You could say we were inspired by ourselves!”
A full tour of the UK and Ireland is set to follow during the first part of 2022.
