Damon Albarn releases his new solo record on November 12th.

Damon Albarn will be playing a one-off gig at the Globe Theatre in London on Monday, September 20th.

Joined by his live band and a string quartet, Albarn is planning a career-spanning set on the night, including tracks from the upcoming The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows.

Inspired by the landscape of Iceland, it was in the live setting that the Blur frontman had originally intended his latest solo project to inhabit before lockdown measures got in the way last year.

“I have been on my own dark journey while making this record and it led me to believe that a pure source might still exist,” he’s said of it.

The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows tracklist:

The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows
The Cormorant
Royal Morning Blue
Combustion
Daft Wader
Darkness To Light
Esja
The Tower Of Montevideo
