It’ll be alt-J’s first since Relaxer in 2017.
alt-J have set February 11th, 2022 for the time when their prolonged break will come to an end.
That date will see the release of The Dream, the band’s fourth studio record which is being previewed now with U&ME.
“It’s about being at a festival with your best friends, having a good time, togetherness, and the feeling in life that nothing could be any better than it is right now,” Gus Unger-Hamilton says of the lead single.
“It gathered momentum on its own, it was best to just get out of its way; we were just there,” Joe Newman adds of its origins at soundchecks around the world during their last tour.
