Lorde cited Primal Scream’s Loaded as the chief influence for her comeback single.
Lorde has confirmed the details of her new album Solar Power and world tour dates for next year.
Her third studio LP will be released on August 20th, the lead off title-track on there with eleven other new songs such as Fallen Fruit, Dominoes and Mood Ring.
The world tour, meanwhile, is set to launch in her native New Zealand next February, moving on the US and Canada during April and May.
UK shows then swiftly follow; in Leeds Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
