The Joni Mitchell classic is approaching a significant birthday.
To mark the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest albums of the 1970s, the first four Joni Mitchell records will be reissued on June 25th.
Blue has been packed up with its immediate predecessors Song To A Seagull, Clouds and Ladies Of The Canyon in the Reprise Albums box-set, all remastered as the next part of the Joni Mitchell Archives series.
Song To A Seagull will be presented with a new mix; “The original mix was atrocious,” says Mitchell. “It sounded like it was recorded under a jello bowl, so I fixed it!”
4CD, 4LP and digital formats will all be available from the aforementioned date.
