Doves had been aiming to get out on the road in the spring.
Doves have moved their UK and Ireland tour dates to 2022.
“For obvious reasons we’re unable to make the proposed tour happen, which we’re really gutted about as it was to be our first proper album tour for almost 12 years,” they’ve written on social media.
That album was last year’s comeback The Universal Want, one that narrowly missed out on Live4ever’s end-of-year lists, full of ‘generally varied and often oblique’ subject matter.
