Our editor’s pick of the new tracks which have come in this week is Damaged Eyes Squinting Into The Beautiful Overhot Sun, the final cut to be taken from this year’s Deerhoof album Future Teenage Cave Artists.

“The piece is about going to the mall, about the election, about feeling grumpy and hopeful. We made it in extreme heat of late summer in between wildfires that choked the Bay Area,” the director of its video Anders Ericsson says.

Deerhoof released their fifteenth studio album back in May, and since have put out a covers medley entitled Love-Lore and the Bandcamp exclusive live album To Be Surrounded By Beautiful, Curious, Breathing, Laughing Flesh Is Enough.
