The Besnard Lakes are back with plans to release a new album at the start of next year.

Almost exactly five years on from A Coliseum Complex Museum, the band will put out Are The Last Of The Great Thunderstorm Warnings on January 29th 2021, a 72-minute double album which is being led by Raindrops. “This song and video details a psychedelic flight through the mind while deep in an altered state,” they say of the single

“The song lyrically references the death of Mark Hollis from Talk Talk (“Garden of Eden spirited”) and also describes the idea of evolution determining the story of the Garden of Eden.”
