Orlando Weeks is doing his bit for the Music Venue Trust by launching a collaborative art project based around his recent solo debut album.

Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice, Idles frontman Joe Talbot, Bill Ryder-Jones, Kele Okereke, Marika Hackman and Ben Mack from Sports Team are some of those to have designed their own, limited edition pieces inspired by the visuals which accompanied The Quickening, amounting to 140 illustrations in total which are available now from Weeks’ official website, priced at £40.

“Everyone involved recognises how crucial UK Venues of every shape and size are,” the Maccabees frontman says. “They are where we go to commune and celebrate and sing and spill drinks together. These cards are a small gesture of thanks for the pleasure and opportunity that venues and their staff, up and down the country, have given so many of us.”
