Arlo Parks confirms debut album Collapsed In Sunbeams details

Collapsed In Sunbeams

Arlo Parks will release her debut album Collapsed In Sunbeams on January 29th next year.

The album is set to arrive after a year of growing prominence for the London songwriter through the considered sound of singles such as Black Dog, and collaborations with artists including Phoebe Bridgers and Future Utopia, the solo moniker of producer Fraser T. Smith. Those two things collide again on the album’s latest single Green Eyes, which features a guest turn from Clairo.

“My album is a series of vignettes and intimate portraits surrounding my adolescence and the people that shaped it,” Parks says. “It is rooted in storytelling and nostalgia — I want it to feel both universal and hyper specific.”
