Tom Grennan touring debut album Lighting Matches in Liverpool (Gary Mather for Live4ever)
When Tom Grennan played a sold-out Brixton Academy show not long after releasing his debut album Lighting Matches, he probably didn’t think he’d back there barely a couple of years later playing to not a soul. Such is 2020 life though, and with crowds in music venues still a long way off, he’s announced a live streamed gig from the venue on October 2nd. It’ll be a VR experience on MelodyVR, such is 2020 life.
“Nothing can replace the thrill of live music, especially in a venue as iconic as O2 Academy Brixton,” Grennan says. “I have loved playing there in the past and I can’t wait to get on the stage again with MelodyVR and bring you a taste of the new album.”
“I am putting together something really special for everyone at home who I’ve missed so much.”
