New Order will release a ‘definitive edition’ of their classic 1983 album Power, Corruption And Lies on October 2nd.

One of that year’s standout releases, Power, Corruption And Lies finds New Order gaining an ever more assured footing on their second studio album, highlights such as Age Of Consent, The Village and Your Silent Face helping to paint a bright future for the band as they moved on from the tragic end of Joy Division.

This new edition comes remastered from the original Britannia Row Studios sessions, with extras including Manchester rehearsal stints; a 1982 John Peel appearance; DVDs featuring live footage from the Hacienda nightclub among others; and a contemporary Channel 4 documentary along with more rare video footage.

The limited edition box-set version keeps the Factory association close, designed as it is by the label’s legendary designer Peter Saville.
