London Grammar have returned with their new single Baby It’s You.
It’s a track on which the band play again to the strengths of Hannah Reid, albeit with her unsurpassable vocals kept on a leash as the trio release their first bit of new material since last year’s Let You Know collaboration with Flume.
No other details have arrived with the song, but it’s likely to be the starting point for London Grammar’s third studio album, which would be their first since the 2017 UK number one Truth Is A Beautiful Thing – an album whose focal point was undoubtedly the ethereal single Oh Woman Oh Man.
That had followed the 2013 debut If You Wait which, again led by striking singles such as Strong, delivered numerous nominations at the Brit, Q and Ivor Novello Awards during the subsequent twelve months.
