Biffy Clyro closing out the inaugural TRNSMT Festival (Gary Mather / Live4ever)
For those of you with the Download Headliner bingo card, next year’s winners are Biffy Clyro, System Of A Down and KISS.
The main acts lead other Download regulars such as Deftones, Korn, Steel Panther, Frank Carter and The Darkness who are hoping festivals have been given the green light in time for Donington Park to host the event between June 4th-6th, 2021.
“We can’t wait to return to headline Download in 2021, Biffy Clyro say. “It’s a highlight of the festival calendar and a big part of our history as a band. Headlining in 2017 was special and now it’s time to celebrate again! ”
“We’re disappointed we weren’t able to make it over this year, but we’re looking forward to next,” System Of A Down’s Shavo Odadjian adds. “Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Mostly, we all just want to make sure everyone is provided with a safe and secure environment, so we were prepared to wait as long as we needed to.”
