Travis are streaming another track from their new album 10 Songs with it due for release on October 9th.
10 Songs arrived last month with the lead single A Ghost – whose video, ‘started out as a mocked up picture of me and 3 ghosts playing the last chorus of the song in a deserted alleyway’, Fran Healy explained – and it’s been followed up today with Valentine.
“Valentine was recorded as a predominately live performance in December 2019 at Rak studios in London,” Healy says of this one, which he co-produced with Robin Baynton. “It’s the closest Travis have gotten sonically to our debut album Good Feeling. Alex Harvey-esque.”
