Sound City organisers have decided not to go ahead with this year’s event in Liverpool, but have confirmed the dates for their return in 2021.
September is the time to look out for the first line-up announcements, as those behind Sound City look to move on from what they describe as, ‘one of the most difficult decisions they have ever had to make’.
“We are very sorry to everyone who was excited to party with us in September but please do stay with us as we move to 2021,” a statement reads. “Sound City is an independent festival and could not continue without your overwhelming support. Our new dates are 30th April – 2nd May 2021.”
“We promise to continue doing what we do best by putting on insanely amazing acts from all around the world in incredible venues where you can make unforgettable memories with your favourite people.”
