A very obscure performance of Death Letter has been shared ahead of The White Stripes‘ 20th anniversary reissue of De Stijl.

Filmed at Jay’s Upstairs in Missoula, Montana, it captures the duo showing off their habit of an essential cover, Death Letter one of the prime examples of why De Stijl is such a fondly remembered record despite its follow-up White Blood Cells being the one which would deliver their commercial breakthrough.

Being a Third Man affair, there’s of course plenty of extras and bonus features included in the reissue package, such as a 2001 New Year’s Eve concert at Magic Stick in Detroit.
