Next off the Speedy Wunderground bandwagon are The Lounge Society, teenagers from Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire and the growing ‘Calder Sound’ stable which includes Working Men’s Club, The Orielles and WH Lung.
The band needed time off school to record their Generation Game single with Dan Carey which will be released digitally on March 27th with a limited 7″ following on April 24th. “They are great, really fun to work with, and an amazing band,” Carey says.
“I don’t think it’s sunk in yet that we’re releasing a single with Speedy,” the band adds. “It’s always been a dream for all of us to record with Dan Carey and release with Speedy. We love their ethos and all the music they’ve put out in the past, it’s a great scene.”
