Pet Shop Boys’ Monkey Business at number one on UK Vinyl Singles Chart

Pet Shop Boys

Pet Shop Boys‘ Monkey Business is leading the UK Vinyl Singles Chart.

Taken from the duo’s latest album Hotspot, the track is one of an entirely new Top 5 for the chart with debuts from Khruangbin & Leon Bridges, T-Rex, Ed O’Brien’s solo moniker EOB and Sports Team also scoring high debuts, while Jake Bugg completes a run of six new entries with Kiss Like The Sun.

Aiming to acknowledge the last decade’s surge in vinyl sales, the Official Charts Company started dedicated vinyl album and singles charts in 2016, compiling this one from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
