Hayley Williams has shared another track from her debut solo album Petals For Armor.
“There are a lot of themes covered on the album as a whole and I thought it best to separate some of these themes so that there can be time for everyone to digest some of the songs before we move along to others,” she says after unveiling this latest cut, Cinnamon. “It’s a way to include people on the journey in the same way that I experienced it.”
The Paramore singer has previously said that some of her ‘proudest moments as a lyricist’ happened while writing the album, which is due for release on May 8th. “And I was able to get my hands a little dirtier than usual when it came to instrumentation,” she added. “I’m in a band with my favorite musicians so I never really feel the need to step into a role as a player when it comes to Paramore records.”
