David Bowie leads UK Vinyl Singles Chart with The Alabama Song

Vinyl Singles Chart

David Bowie‘s version of The Alabama Song is leading the current UK Vinyl Singles Chart.

It jumps to the top spot from last week’s position of #19, ahead of a non-mover from Khruangbin & Leon Bridges and new entries from Los Campesinos, Buzzcocks and Tindersticks.

Aiming to acknowledge the last decade’s surge in vinyl sales, the Official Charts Company started dedicated vinyl album and singles charts in 2016, compiling this one from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
