30 new names have been confirmed for this year’s Mad Cool festival.
They include Placebo, Glass Animals, Sam Fender, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, The Struts, The Comet Is Coming and Dinosaur Pile-Up, who all join main acts Taylor Swift, Twenty One Pilots, Billie Eilish, The Killers, alt-j, HAIM and Kings Of Leon at the mega event in Madrid this coming July.
Some more guests are Richard Hawley, Faith No More, London Grammar – and Foals after the release of their two-part Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost album last year; “Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost has been much more than a slick marketing idea to Yannis Philippakis, a project just as much of an exploration of Foals’ ability to build a creative assault course and make it through,” our review reads.
“Could it have been one heavily edited but brilliant record? Maybe. But they’ve earned the right to be indulged, if only just this once. Epilogue: For the Foals boys the adventure is over. But for how long?”
