Noel Gallagher has premiered the title-track of his next High Flying Birds EP Blue Moon Rising.

Out on March 6th, Blue Moon Rising is set to be the last of a trio of EPs released by Gallagher during the past twelve months, and is likely to signal the start of a lengthy break after a long stretch of releases and touring since 2017’s full length Who Built The Moon?.

“How it manages to combine the influences of Metallica, The Jesters Of Malice, Mantovani, Robinson Crusoe as well as Bob Marley AND The Wailers is literally beyond me,” Gallagher says of the track. “Oh, and it’s not about City by the way.”

Before that break begins in earnest, Gallagher has a spring of UK tour dates booked, including some dates for the Forest Live concert series in June.

Tour dates:

March

24,25 – O2 Apollo, Manchester
27 – Royal Albert Hall, London, Teenage Cancer Trust

June
18 – Thetford Forest, Suffolk
19 – Cannock Chase Forest, Staffordshire
21 – Kenwood House, London
24 – Bristol Sounds, Bristol
26 – Sherwood Pines, Nottinghamshire
