Pixies have premiered their video for Long Rider.
The brainchild of Paz Lenchantin, its narrative is woven around the lyrics for Long Rider which she co-wrote with Black Francis, and the untimely death of her close friend Desiree. She says:
“It was almost as if Desiree had this dream before she went surfing that morning, and hints at that even if she had known her fate, she would still have taken that wave.”
Meanwhile, Pixies have a North American tour booked for December and will head through Asia and Australia during the first part of 2020.
