The Libertines have added a new date at the Winter Gardens in Margate to their December UK tour.
It means they’ll end the tour on December 22nd not far from their new Albion Rooms base – a five-storey, ten-room Victorian building which began the ‘first phase’ of its opening on August 31st. “It might be a while before we challenge The Savoy or The Grand Budapest in the hotel stakes, but we’ve put a lot of love into this,” Carl Barat said.
“Meanwhile, it’s a colourful and inspiring home for the Libertines and I look forward to the Albion Rooms becoming our very own Warholian Factory.”
