The 1975, Billie Eilish and Liam Gallagher are some of the artists to have received multiple nominations for this year’s Q Awards.

Due to take place at the London Roundhouse on October 16th, The 1975 will compete that night for some of the main prizes such as Best Album and Best Act In The World Today, while Liam Gallagher is nominated with Billie Eilish in the Best Solo Act category.

“It’s only when you’ve finished compiling these shortlists that you start seeing the patterns – in particular, Billie Eilish and The 1975 duking it out with Lewis Capaldi and Stormzy for the most potential Q awards,” Q Magazine editor Ted Kessler comments.

“But the thing that is most striking when sifting through the votes is how much amazing music has been released this year, and how much you’ve forgotten about.”
