Stormzy headlining Day 1 at TRSNMT Festival 2019 (Gary Mather for Live4ever)
Stormzy has shared a third new song of the year with the follow-up to his hit debut album Gang Signs & Prayer in the pipeline.
Sounds Of The Skeng was produced by Sir Spyro and looks set for inclusion on what’s likely to be a blockbuster second record for Stormzy after his debut delivered mainstream success leading into the Glastonbury headline appearance last June which went a long way in co-organiser Emily Eavis describing the weekend as ‘the best Glastonbury ever’.
“It was a huge moment for us, up there with the all-time greatest Glastonbury headline performances and one for the history books,” she said. “The perfect gig. I’m so happy for him, it could not have been better.”
“It also confirmed for me that our crowd is the best in the world. Watching that huge audience lock in and give so much back was very moving. The atmosphere was incredible. But then it has been since the gates opened.”
