Bon Iver have announced European tour dates in support of the recently released i,i album, including UK and Ireland arena gigs in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.
Justin Vernon will start the tour in Lisbon on April 15th, 2020 and visit Spain, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands before the UK shows begin on April 26th.
i,i was given a release much earlier than expected last month, the first Bon Iver record since 2016’s 22, A Million. “It feels very much like the most adult record, the most complete,” Vernon remarked.
“It feels like when you get through all this life, when the sun starts to set, and what happens is you start gaining perspective. And then you can put that perspective into more honest, generous work.”
