The Chemical Brothers, Bernard Sumner honoured at this year’s O2 Silver Clef Awards

The Chemical Brothers and Bernard Sumner of New Order were among the winners at the 2019 O2 Silver Clef Awards which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London today.

“We are delighted to be part of the O2 Silver Clef Awards this year and to be supporting this very special charity,” Tom Rowland and Ed Simons had said before picking up the Innovation Award. “We love expressing our inner selves creatively, forging connection and escape through music.”




“Music therapy which helps people to do the same is incredibly important and inspiring for us. We’re grateful to be associated with the provision of this opportunity for people to find their voice through music.”

Meanwhile, Bernard Sumner was honoured with Outstanding Achievement, and Gary Numan was the recipient of this year’s Icon Award. Other trophies went to Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Dua Lipa, The Black-Eyed Peas, Years & Years and Mabel.
