Karen O and Danger Mouse will play a show at Los Angeles’ Theatre at Ace Hotel on September 6th after releasing the collaborative album Lux Prima, initially at select independent record stores late last year.
It’s being billed as the only live outing the pair will make together after the album got a full release on March 15th, 2019. “After making music for the past twenty years and embarking on making this record with Danger Mouse I knew a couple things,” Karen O said of the project.
“One was that the spirit of collaboration between us was going to be going to be a pure one, and two was that the more I live the less is clear to me.”
“When you create from a blurry place you can go places further than you’ve ever been. I think we both were excited to go far out.”c
Tickets will be allocated on July 26th to those who registered in time.
