Travis have gone back to a performance of Driftwood from their 1999 appearance at Glastonbury Festival ahead of the gig’s release on CD, 2LP and download formats in a week’s time.

The album is the latest nostalgic piece from Travis who have been looking back with fondness on their Man Who-era since a limited edition box-set in 2017 led into anniversary tours the following year. “Songs are like emotional bookmarks in time,” Fran Healy said at the time.

“When you hear a song you are transported to those times and feel strong echoes of the feelings you felt. Rarely does an album have this ability so performing ‘The Man Who’ once again will be a joy!”

A year after this appearance, Travis were back at Worthy Farm headlining the Pyramid Stage on a weekend which has now become most fondly remembered for David Bowie’s own headline set.
