A song about ‘true love and loyalty’ is the next to preview Richard Hawley‘s new album Further.
“It’s easy to dismiss those small, almost molecular moments in our lives, but in those moments people show you their hear and that’s so important,” Hawley says of My Little Treasures. While its video was filmed in Sheffield, the album’s recording was something of a departure for Hawley, who aimed to ‘play like tomorrow may never happen’.
“We’re all bombarded by so much hateful stuff at the moment that I was determined to make something that is really loving,” he continues. “Some of the songs definitely reflect that and deal with what’s going on,” he’s previously said. “The song Not Lonely is a good example.”
