The cover of Jobriath’s Morning Starship from Morrissey‘s new album California Son has been shared.
Morrissey is joined on this one by Grizzly Bear’s Ed Droste having previously premiered his take of It’s Over by Roy Orbison. More cover versions due on the LP include Don’t Interrupt The Sorrow from Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan’s Only A Pawn In Their Game and Dionne Warwick’s Loneliness Remembers What Happiness Forgets.
Morrissey’s boycott of Canada will end with a tour there next month, while a seven-date residency at New York’s Lunt Fontanne Theater is coming up in May.
