Ryan Adams will prep the release of his new album Big Colors with a tour of the UK and Ireland.

Adams begins on March 31st in Dublin and stays on the road until April 11th, finishing with time to spare before the album comes out just over a week later.

Big Colors is the first of three records Adams is planning to release this year – its latest single Manchester is an ode to one of his favourite musical cities. “It is at the heart of all the things I love about music from The Smiths, Joy Division, Oasis, New Order, Simply Red and The Stone Roses,” he said in a statement released to XS Manchester.

“I wanted to make sure this song ‘Manchester’ played first and only in this city I love so much. I hope you enjoy this and cannot wait to be back soon.”
