Pete Doherty will release his first record with backing band The Puta Madres on April 26th.
Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres includes Trampolene frontman Jack Jones on lead guitar as well as Miggles (bass), Miki Beavis (violin), Katia DeVidas (piano/keyboards) and Rafa (drums), and they were all together recording live at a family home in Étretat, Normandy for four days last summer, and are giving a first taste of the eponymous LP with lead single Who’s Been Having You Over.
They’ll all tour again in February after Doherty completes his current solo shows on the last day of this month, playing shows in York, Margate, Derby, Northwich, Swindon and Swansea.
