Suede will continue touring their Blue Hour album next year.
A UK tour has been arranged for April 2019, visiting cities such as Newcastle, Bristol, Cardiff and Southampton, to keep alive an album which Brett Anderson told NME.com highlighted their view that ‘Suede should be unpleasant, that’s the point of a band like Suede’. The LP was separately compared to ‘the time of day when the light is fading and night is closing in’ by the band, who added:
“The songs hint at a narrative but never quite reveal it and never quite explain. But as with any Suede album, it’s always about the songwriting. The band, the passion and the noise: ‘The Blue Hour’.”
