SOAK will tour the UK again in May 2019 after making her live comeback last month via gigs in Belfast, Dublin, Manchester and London.
The tour launches on May 6th at the Kendal Library, and heads off to Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, Oxford and Bristol from there. The final show is in London, at Islington Assembly Hall, on May 17th.
Bridie-Monds Watson described Everybody Loves You as ‘a song about extreme denial’ when it was unveiled as her first piece of new material since the 2015 debut album Before We Forgot How To Dream. She continued:
“More specifically about my stubborn ability to convince myself I don’t want something that I do and blind my rational thought process – I suppose in this case, as a way of self-protection (and avoiding vulnerability).”
