Radiohead have again been nominated for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Rage Against The Machine, Janet Jackson, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Def Leppard, Todd Rundgren, Rufus and Chaka Khan, LL Cool J, The Zombies, Devo, John Prine, MC5 and Kraftwerk are also potentially in the class of 2019, but will have to wait for a vote from both fans and various music industry types before they find out in December if they’ve made the all important final five. Those five will then join the club during a ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in April 2019.

Before their first nomination last year, Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greendwood spoke of his disinterest during an interview with Rolling Stone, calling the Hall Of Fame ‘a cultural thing that he really doesn’t understand’, while bandmate Ed O’Brien added:

“I don’t want to be rude about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because for a lot of people it means something, but culturally I don’t understand it. I think it might be a quintessential American thing.”
