Coldplay will release a live album to accompany their new A Head Full Of Dreams documentary.

Live In Buenos Aires was recorded on the final night of the band’s A Head Full Of Dreams world tour almost a year ago, while a concert film also set for release captures them in São Paulo, Brazil.

The album and film have been set for release on December 7th when the documentary is also out after its initial online premiere through Amazon Prime Video from November 16th.

A Head Full Of Dreams is the work of Mat Whitecross, director of the recent Oasis doc Supersonic, and thus features extensive behind-the-scenes footage whilst concentrating on the titular world tour due to his association with Coldplay going way back to their first rehearsals together as a band.

He’s since directed videos for singles such as Paradise, A Sky Full Of Stars and ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime.
