Alt-J have been showing off the collaborations with Little Simz and Twin Shadow which will be a part of their hip-hop remixed version of Relaxer when it is released on September 28th, and now the new take on Deadcrush – helmed by Alchemist x Trooko and featuring Danny Brown – has been given a PS1-inspired official video. “It’s no secret that we love and are influenced by hip-hop, and it’s always been a dream of ours to work with hip-hop artists in reimagining our music,” they’ve said of Reduxer, whose release will be followed next month by a UK and Ireland tour.
“With ‘Reduxer’ that dream has come true. We couldn’t be happier with the results. This album is truly global, featuring rappers and producers from all over the world. After a very long time in the making, we are stoked to share it with you all.”
