Roger Waters, Robert Plant and Stereophonics will receive gongs at the 2018 O2 Silver Clef Awards on July 6th.

Both Waters and Plant are being recognised with the Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Award for their contribution to music, while Stereophonics will get their hands on the American Express Icon Award after landing another Top 2 album in the UK last year courtesy of Scream Above The Sounds.

Among the other prizes set to be issued in support of the Nordoff Robbins charity is Best Live Act – a category open to fans’ votes with Ed Sheeran, Jeff Lynne’s ELO, U2, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Stormzy, Fall Out Boy, Adele and The xx all nominated.

“The O2 Silver Clef Awards are one of the reasons why Nordoff Robbins is able to continue delivering life-changing music therapy to so many people facing some of the biggest challenges who desperately need our help,” says chief executive Julie Whelan.

“For 43 years this event has celebrated the best names in music, whilst raising over £10.5m for our charity to date. We are forever grateful for the tremendous support it receives year on year.”
