Jake Bugg‘s acoustic shows will continue in November.
Gigs have been organised in Warrington, Blackburn, Inverness, Kilmarnock, Edinburgh and Gateshead for the songwriter after the release of Hearts That Strain last year. “The rockabilly tendencies of Bugg’s early work seem to have mellowed into a more classic sound,” Live4ever’s review reads.
“Not even alt-country like all the kids are doing these days; this is the proper stuff. There’s hints of Merle Haggard or Conway Twitty and so on. Very slight hints, but hints nonetheless.”
These November dates follow outdoor European appearances which start backing the Stereophonics in Wrexham and Cardiff next month. July will take in visits to the Larmer Tree, Truck and Tramlines festivals.
